Merry Christmas!

Let Every Day Be Christmas

Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself.

Peace on Earth, good will to men,
kind thoughts and words of cheer,
are things we should use often
and not just once a year.

Remember too the Christ-child, grew up to be a man;
to hide him in a cradle, is not our dear Lord's plan.
So keep the Christmas spirit, share it with others far and near, from week to week and month to month, throughout the entire year!

Reconsecration

As a Khouzhan in the Spellmaker™ House I have (of course!) many of our wonderful items in my home. Because our products are so well-made and powerful, most that don't have a specific time frame for use (such as the 9-day spell kits) will last a very long time if you use them even a bit sparingly. Consequently, I often have a few things that have been with me for over a year. Oils, a few herbs, maybe a bit of potion...items that I intend to use, but haven't yet.

While everything made by Spellmaker™  will continue to have benefit, if you have products that you haven't used in a year's time, Mambo Sam has instructions for a reconsecration ritual to invite Baron Samedi - the patron Lwa of our House -  to give them a fresh boost of power.

I love this song. I’ll actually focus mostly on its chorus (above) while doing Sobo’s ritual tomorrow.

Yeah, I know the song is meant to be a critic:

“We’ve created us a credit card mess

We spend the money that we don’t possess…” (I know exactly what she’s talking about!)

But here’s the thing: I can also use it very well to petition Sobo for everyone who has sent their petitions in and also for those who thought about doing it, but didn’t, to have all their debts paid off ;-) YAY, Sobo, we are assured!
