This is exactly what I’ve been going through – the love of life is gone, my mom is gone, my brothers have abandoned me, and sometimes it feels like there is no love at all anymore. I know that’s not true; I know my kids and grandkids love me, my few tried and true friends, etc., but knowing that and feeling that is sometimes two different things. I’ve looked to Erzulie, the Most Beautiful, the Queen of Love, to show me that I am loved, that I’m still worth loving, and she does that for me. Little things my granddaughters do or say, messages from true friends, dreams, and I’ve discovered (re-discovered?) that she was instrumental in bringing me to Spellmaker all those years ago. (I’ll post that later). It’s not always about romantic love with Erzulie. I’m certainly not looking for that at this point; Erzulie shows me the love of my immediate family, my close friends and, of course, with Mambo Sam, Parran Matt and all of my new Family here. She has kept me going, and I have faith that I’ll get through to the other side of this dark night. Erzulie Freda can help you see the love in your life too.
