This is my own personal diary of spell work I have just completed. It is being shared with you so you don't feel so all alone as you do your spell work.
My kit arrived today; I can smell it before I open the mail box, so exciting. I can't wait to open it.
Just opened my kit, there is so much stuff in here and lots of directions. Can't wait to start...
Set my kit up last night, got all the components, the griffanage is complete, the candles are ready as well as the offerings.
Day one - Let get this started. Went through the entire spell with no hitch, this is going to be easy, maybe I will see results today, maybe not, hat's OK. Getting up this early is kind of nice anyway.
Day Two - Offering went outside, man it is dark out there. New offering is out, consecrations complete. Thought of a few new petitions which is wesome. Wow, this is going great, I think tomorrow, I will have a little caffeine before I start.
Day Three - Offering went outside, it is chilly and dark, and the dog downstairs started barking, it is 5:30 am. Had a little Mountain Dew to start the day. My petitions are getting stronger; I am getting new insight as the process goes further.
Day Four - Had a half a can of Mountain Dew before I took my offering outside today, the dog was quite today, no doubt tired from the day before. I feel strong. I am consecrating everything and everything in order. I'm hoping I am not forgetting anything.
Day Five - Kept a diet Coke in my bedroom with a few pretzels overnight so I didn't have to stumble into the kitchen. Took my offerings outside in the rain, two dogs barking this time, I think Legba wanted me to know he was with me - thank you Legba, now please shut the dogs up. I am still being enlightened everyday with more petitions. Everything is consecrated and lit. More than half done, life is good, and I am holding strong, counted my incense cones today, only four left, whoohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!
Day Six - Mountain Dew is so much better. Getting a little cloudy and tired but determined to stay the course I have committed to. It is a slow candle day, my petitions seam so repetitive, which is OK because they are supposed to be. Very careful not to miss any steps, I forgot to clap my
hands three time, so I went back. Must take nap when I get home from work. No dog barking today, that was a bonus.
Day seven - After taking the offerings outside, took a deep breath and headed in, this is about when I was ready to give up. It was not going to happen; I was failing, tired and hungry. I set everything up, I asked Legba for a little energy (yes I had my soda already), and remarkably he gave it to me. I was very happy and ready to go work and start my day. Two more days, I could see the finish line and the prize when this was complete. A short nap tonight and cook some risotto.
Day Eight - Over the hump, woke up at 5:20 without an alarm, rested and so ready to start. I felt clear and energized no caffeine, no dogs, no rain, no neighbors, everything was perfect. My spell was super strong and I felt was being received by the deserving parties. I have been asking for
guidance and receiving it. One more day and then the last offerings.
Day Nine - Last day. This is a bitter sweet time, I feel so glad to have completed the work, but will miss my early meetings with the LWA, who were so wonderful to the bleary eyed me. Wrapped it up, will take the alter down tonight and will complete the task of day ten tomorrow.
I wrote this to let you know that beginners and experienced practitioners get very tired and sometimes discouraged during the time of their spell work. Keep your head down and focus on what you want, nine day is nothing compared to a lifetime of happiness.
Day Ten - everything completed, LWA please take charge, I am going to have a glass of wine.
Love to all, XO Khouzhan Ann
