Imagine this: you just had your bathroom remodeled, and the second time you use it something breaks. And we’re not talking a simple malfunction. Stitches were involved. So you’re standing there in a robe, with a cut, who are you going to call?
How about the contractor?
It wasn’t that crazy, the contractor lives in the same neighborhood and was a surer thing than calling around for another neighbor. It was a bold move, but since the contractor could see the immediate consequence of a workmanship issue, he wasn’t going to argue about making things right.
This made me think of times where a direct approach is called for. Lwa have different talents or specialties. Maybe there is one you do not know well who would be helpful for your situation. Give that Lwa a try! Service is a great way to get to know a Lwa.
Another situation is with the people we are trying to change in a spellwork situation. It is important to look at everyone who affects a situation, intruders and meddlers. But there is usually one central person, so don’t forget to keep up the work on that person, too.
And, in a way, spellwork is a direct approach. Instead of helplessly complaining to friends about a situation, we’re working on getting results!
Love, Khouzhan Lucy
