Most of us celebrate New Year’s Eve as the end of one year and the beginning of a whole new one; ridding ourselves of the old and looking forward to the new and exciting. What better way to do this than sharing Cocktail Hour with the Lwa?! I’m planning a Cocktail Hour with several of them and then my usual “ritual” that I do every New Year’s Eve (magick bath, readings, setting my boundaries, etc.) Looking forward to another year living and loving with the Lwa!

Ask me, or my dear friend Carol, or anyone that has been waiting for their HD to come along for a very long time. Waiting is the most difficult and testing period you can go through. Every day, you think, this may be the day. And it might actually be. Since spell work has no time line and it can happen at any time, it can feast or famine. I can honestly say, I have wanted to give up dozens of times. But one thing I am sure of is the LWA are with me in big ways and in subtle ways.
If it not in my work, it is in my social and home life. My love will come to me and this I am sure, because my faith in the LWA is so great. I have seen several of my Khouzhans, whom I love you all dearly by the way, have great success.
Breath deeply, pray deeply, cry thoughtfully and believe.

Right now most of us are caught up in the bustle of the holiday season... presents to be bought and wrapped, parties and family gatherings to attend, holiday money and gift cards to be spent, items to be exchanged or returned, feasts to be prepared. Even though many of us have days off work, those days are filled with errands and other reasons to rush around. It can be hard to find time for our spiritual pursuits during this merry but often maddening time of year.
Not only are we overwhelmed with things to do, but we are also overwhelmed with, well, things -- pantries and refrigerators are full of leftovers and edible gifts, cabinets stocked with bottles of spirits, cookie jars and candy dishes overflowing with all sorts of festive goodies. All this bounty presents a perfect opportunity to honor Les Lois without taking too much time out of our already overbooked holiday schedules.
Why not offer some of those abundant goodies to the spirits who have so richly blessed you? Candles are so prevalent in winter holiday decor that many of us have them close at hand right now... it only takes a few moments to set up a small altar with a candle or two, ask Papa Legba to open the gate, say a few prayers, and offer some of those plentiful goodies to your spirit guardians and benefactors as an expression of gratitude. Let's not forget that, without the benevolence of Bondye (God) and His servants the Lwa (Voodoo spirits), we would not have so many good things for which to be thankful.
And, should your abundance of holiday treats include some non-perishable items, please consider donating some to a local food bank, soup kitchen or homeless shelter. If you do good deeds and send positive energy into the universe, good things will come to you as well.

I don't voice my appreciation often enough. You help us learn what's in our hearts, look after us and help us in ways and to an extent that we may not even know. I have the pillow bag for Magick Dreams. After the holidays I plan on rewarding myself for getting through another year, almost completely sane, by using this. Let Every Day Be Christmas

Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself.
Peace on Earth, good will to men,
kind thoughts and words of cheer,
are things we should use often
and not just once a year.
Remember too the Christ-child, grew up to be a man;
to hide him in a cradle, is not our dear Lord's plan.
So keep the Christmas spirit, share it with others far and near, from week to week and month to month, throughout the entire year!

This is my open confessional Blog. Some of you will know exactly what I am talking about. For
me going into 2014, I want a truly fresh start. I want to meet someone wonderful for me and to
me. I have a little leg work to make that happen, But have complete faith in Spell Maker to help
me through this process of true happiness.
I am going to do the TRIO white healing image candles BMS, I need some personal work to
help clear me mind and heart of all the hurt.
Next, I intend to do the duo casting with Mambo for the “Attract love to me Spell”. I have never
done this because I have always had a focus of an HD, but not right now.
The next TRIO red female image candles to really bring it home and enhance the “ALTM” Spell.
Of course the red witch trio is dear to my heart because I am very, very close to, she has never
failed me and she is awesome.
This is really hard and healing for me to write because I am currently in a state of complete
heart break and feeling encouraged.
