March is just a few days away, so how are your New Year resolution’s going? Are you sticking with it or is that resolution a distant memory that failed weeks or a month ago? Hey, if you’re sticking with it great. You were probably completely prepared for the life style change. If you didn’t stick with it, don’t worry too much about it. New Year resolutions are set up for failure.
People commonly think “I’ll quit on New Year’s” or “I’ll start on New Year’s.” The best ideas are made on good intentions but are you truly prepared to make such a lifestyle change? Probably not and that is why it is a setup for failure.
In order to make a lifestyle change whether it be quitting something bad or starting something good, you must have completely made up your mind that you want to make this change. If you don’t want to make this change, the chances of failure are very high. No one can make you change; you have to want with all your heart to change. If you’ve unequivocally decided to make a change because you want to, you are beginning on the road to success and your chances for success are good.
New Year’s is a day of the year and on that day, you may not have decided to make your lifestyle change on that particular day. This is why resolutions are so difficult to keep. Make your decision to change because you want to.
There is help out there to make that decision:
Spellmaker’s Self-Improvement Doll Kit is an effective way to help make improvements in your life. It is a must have to keep you working towards your goal. Please see: http://www.spellmaker.com/doll.htm
When that time comes, pick a day to make the change and say to yourself that change you are making will be remain for everyday of your life. If you and truly realize it, success will be on your side.

I couldn't agree more, Khouzhan Tristan. Well said. I can't tell you how many times I tried to quit smoking on January 1st and it never worked out. Turns out I was never ready until May 25th of 2010. Thank you for this article...I'm sure many can relate.
