Many of us struggle with dry, dull, or damaged hair. Dry hair can result from having used harsh shampoos, dyes or perms, shampooing too often, chlorine, and even blowing drying, curling, or straightening irons. Restore moisture and shine back into your hair with one of these simple remedies:
- Mash together a banana and an avocado, spread in your hair, and let it sit for an hour. Rinse with warm water.
- Rinse your hair with a little bit of beer to restore your hair’s natural shine.
- Apply 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise to your hair, cover with a plastic cap, and let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
- Rinse your hair with 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar to improve shine and reduce dandruff.
Using one of these remedies will help rehydrate your hair and add back that shine that you may be missing.
