I've been planning a wedding for the last year, so figuring out ways to not let the stress of all the planning completely take over has been one of my highest priorities. I found that these three simple tips have helped me avoid becoming completely stressed out and have helped me keep my sanity:
- Set realistic goals: don't expect to get it all done in one day. Prioritize tasks that need to be completed and set short and long term goals to avoid becoming overwhelmed.
- Exercise: exercising at least five times a week will help you release tension and assist you in getting into shape as well.
- Sleep: be sure to get at least 6-8 hours of sleep per night. A lack of sleep could cause your stress levels to rise.
