Hi Everyone,
Several months ago, I was performing an oceanside ritual for a very dear friend of mine. During the ritual I received some guidance from Agwe that had nothing really to do with the reason for the casting of the ritual, but as will many times happen when I'm working with our dear Agwe and LaSirene, any information they feel you should have (whether it pertains to the reason for the ritual being done or not) will come through to me and I am bound by oath to pass it along to you. ;-) Today, as I was cleaning my home after returning from a long holiday trip, I was thinking of this guidance that was given to me so many months ago and I was hit by a sudden urge to share it with all of you. Now, before I go on I have to say that any guidance or anything at all that happens during an oceanside ritual is completely confidential and is kept between myself, the client ordering the ritual, and Agwe and LaSirene. However, I know this friend would not mind me sharing this guidance with you. The person's identity will be withheld to maintain a certain amount of confidentiality.
So, what was this wonderful guidance? The guidance I received from Agwe was this, "Don't be afraid to be glorious!" Alrightie, sounds good. But what does it really mean? Well, what it means is exactly what it says, don't be afraid to be glorious. Many times, we all have a tendency to hold back from ourselves. We are afraid of what is possible and what we can truly achieve if we would throw ourselves completely into a particular goal, or into our jobs, or even into bringing more love into our lives. Whatever it is that you are working toward or thinking about working toward, don't be afraid to put everything you have into it. We are all capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for, and many times we are so afraid of failure or afraid of actually achieving our goals that we push our own self-destruct buttons and we subconsciously fail on purpose or give up before we even give ourselves a chance to succeed! We are our own worst enemy. It can be so difficult to get past this and really allow ourselves to full-on go for it, but many of us would be surprised what we can truly achieve and how far we can go if we really do give it our all and if we aren't afraid to be glorious! I know there have been many times in my life when I have inadvertently held myself back and often times I will see this in others in my daily workings as a spiritual practitioner, as well. It is much more common then you would think.
So, as we are just a few short days into this new year, I propose that we each ask ourselves, "Am I afraid to be glorious? Am I afraid to succeed? Do I really go after my goals and give them my all?" We are all capable of so many wonderful things, and we are all capable of bringing what we want into our lives. It's all right before us but we can't succeed unless we truly do try. This year, in addition to our new year's resolutions and our hopeful look toward a new beginning in 2010, let's all take Agwe's advice. Don't be afraid to really put yourself into your goals. Resolve to throw away that self-destruct button once and for all. Look toward the future with hope and faith in yourself and all that you can achieve in this new year. Then go forth into 2010 and be as glorious as you were meant to be!
Much love,
Sister Candelaria
