So, if you have read my blog at all before you know I have mentioned various "Chick" Magazines before. One of my favorites had a great feature about sisters in last month's magazine which got me to thinking about my sisters and the crazy things we have gotten up to, good and bad, so I thought I would share some here and give them a shout out :)
I have two older sisters. Things have been great and tumultuous between us during our lives. We used to steal each other' clothes, fight, read one another's diaries, and I am not all together ashamed to admit that I have bitten each of them. But we also used (and still are able) to be there for each other and do fun things together. They taught me how to put on makeup, shave my legs, and flirt with boys. They also taught me how to deal with a broken heart, where to get a fake Id and how to drive.
As we have grown older we have grown closer. We have shared a lot of good moments, and painful experiences. We are able to be vulnerable with each other, and not judge one another for our flaws and mistakes. We all realize that it will take a united front to assist our parents as they grow older. That men will come and go, but your family is there to stay. I love them both very much.
Family is important. Whether it is the family you were born into, adopted into, created yourself, or just kind of joined. For some people Spellmaker counts as your family. We thank you for the opportunity to be that for you.
Thanks for reading
