My Quirky Use for Oils
Here is another kind of strange use for the oils that is not printed on the instructions.
The desert is really hard on certain things. One of those things is the dashboard of a car. If you do not put a window cover up during the summer your dashboard will age quicker, and potentially crack.
When I went to get gas on my lunch break one day, I realized I needed some Armorall for the dashboard. However, the gas station store was sold out. I went back to work, frustrated about it. I had my mind set on doing this, and felt vexed. While stomping around the office being mad at the convenience store, an idea occurred to me.
My car is just a car. Its not my baby, and its not a $40,000 SUV or anything. It’s a used 2002 sedan that gets me from point A to point B and has been very reliable so far. If your car is your baby, then I am sure you have a special regimen, or you get it detailed once every 6 months, so you probably do not want to try this. However, if you are like me and are willing to try new things to your car, then I recommend this to you.
I bought myself a bottle of Abre Camino oil and dumped it on my dashboard. I wiped it liberally over my dashboard. While doing it I asked Papa Alegba to help open roads for me in general. Now I honestly cant say that it helped with traffic because I have never been stuck in traffic here. I know some people have, but I live fairly close to work, and I don’t have much cause to drive on the highway. Also I don’t know cars very well. I don’t know if this is detrimental to my dashboard, or what Armorall has that Abre Camino oil does not have. But do know that I love the smell of my car. I never use air fresheners because I just put new Abre Camino oil on about every two months. You can also do this with the potions.
